where is this from? i grew out of chuck palahniuk's novels (most are rather testosterone-driven or end up sounding pretty the same after a few of them) but i still love his essays and non-fiction.

i don't know. i just saw them in Google Reader. hehehe. i checked out his website and found this book entitled Diary. i want it!
hmmm. maybe it's from one of his essays. he has a few articles on his website too, and a lot of writing workshop things, if you're interested :)
i have Diary! yeah it's one of my favorites. it's the only book i read of him (besides Stranger than Fiction) that isn't such a Dude Book like Fight Club or Choke.
i shall email you an excerpt from Diary. :)
